DescriptionA gouache study for a weaving collaboration. The background features alternating bands of green and yellow, over which vertical stalks of yellow bamboo are drawn. Small letters throughout the design denote the different materials to be used in the final tapestry. Surrounding the composition are the artist's notes about design. At right are notes regarding the color of the bamboo. Below the composition is a swatch of colors used throughout the drawing. The bottom of the sheet is stamped "ORIGINAL."
