DescriptionYellow-tinted paper with black printed text and images. There are three thick black, horizontal lines across the top and bottom of the “fake” currency with “10,000” in each corner. On the left side of the paper, there is a circle with San Felipe de Neri Church in the middle of it. Around the outside of the circle it says, “ALBUQUERQUE’S 250TH ANNIVERSARY/1706 JULY 4TH-14TH 1956.” On the right side of the paper there is a shield with a helmeted conquistador head in profile in it. Below this it says, “Frontier Town.” Between these images, from left to right and top to bottom, it says, “Territory of/NEW MEXICO/[line]/Ten Thousand/SCRIP.” Below this, in much smaller print it says, “Strictly illegal tender, good only/for bragging about North Albuquerque.”On View
