DescriptionThis lithograph is of a mural painting of the South Pacific region. The map shows the Asian continent in the upper left corner, with the Australian continent near the lower left corner. North and South America are depicted on the right side of the page. Each continent is covered with illustrations of the types of dwellings people live in in each region. In the lower left corner, there is a piece of illustrated wood with the phrase, "NATIVE DWELLINGS/OF THE PACIFIC AREA." Below this, in small, blue text, it says, "COVARRUBIAS." In the lower right corner, just below the ink of the print, it says, "PLATE V: PAGEANT OF THE PACIFIC, MIGUEL COVARRUBIAS."
