DescriptionThese are two panoramic illustrations, of Prague and Cheb, on a single page. This is part of the Civitates Orbis Terrarum, a series of published town atlases. The upper illustration is of Prague and shows the city center on top of a hill, located mostly on the left side. Around the center and down the hill to the right are clusters of smaller buildings. On either side of the frame, printed over the sky above the city, is the word "PRAGA." The lower half of the page shows the city of Egra, today known as Cheb (or Eger, in German). In the center is a church or other building with two tall spires. There is a bridge to the left of this building that goes over a river surrounding two sides of the city. In the sky above the city it says, "EGRA."
