DescriptionThis road map was issued by the New Mexico State Highway Department. It includes New Mexico's historic trails and information about other points of interest such as the site of the Trinity atomic bomb test. National parks are boxed in pink sections just as the national forests feature in green The routes each are labeled with their corresponding number and while the river and mountains in New Mexico are shown, only the roads continue past the state border. Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Texas, and Mexico are noted bu are off the edges of the map highlighted blue. The map does not show an interstate highway system and underneath the map is an indexed list of cities, towns, and points of interest.On View
