DescriptionA double wooden door to a building with a wooden plaque next to it that reads:"1882 First Albuquerque Public School. School of Our Lady of Angels under the direction of the Sisters of Charity will re-open Monday Sept. 4 1882. All useful and ornamental branches taught. Painting, drawing and wax work, Spanish classes and private lessons. For particulars apply at the convent."

The double doors are locked with a metal bar and padlock. The school is at 316 Romero Street NW.
