DescriptionStudents dance a Maypole Dance at the fifth annual May Festival at Emerson Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The students are fourth graders from Mrs. Vilma McQuire and Miss Lee Somerby's classes at the school. The students hold ribbons attached to the top of a wooden pole and weave in and out as they dance. The Sandia Mountains are in the background.
