DescriptionThis wood container is rectangular in shape with a lid that is held by cloth ties. The box is constructed of different strips of wood giving it an ombre effect and the top has interweaving diagonal wooden patterns and a triangle section on one side. The box is lined in faded pink paper and features a lithographed image of a young girl mounted inside the lid. The girl, with light blonde curls and a wide-brimmed straw hat, wears a red blouse and gazes directly outward. The individual is accented with faint decorative fleur-de-lis and pastel rainbow arcs in the background.On View
