DescriptionA studio portrait of three children and a dog. The oldest child stands to the left of center frame and wears a dark double-breasted suit. On the right stands the second eldest child, wearing a suit with an open dark jacket and white shirt with a large collar, dark trousers and knee socks. He rests his left hand on the wooden, woven arm rest of a studio chair prop to the right of the frame. A baby is sitting upright on a second wooden, woven chair set between the two standing children. The baby is wearing a long white dress with billowing sleeves. At the baby's feet is a black retriever dog, laying on a shaggy rug at three-quarter profile facing the left frame. The children are all looking toward the camera. On View
