BiographyMichael Kabotie is the son of Fred Kabotie who worked at the Grand Canyon's Hopi House, also a painter, who painted the petroglyph designs (including the Abo Thunderbird) on the ceiling of Mary Colter's Watchtower. Michael is also a contemporary artist working in 2D and 3D and a member of the Artists Hopid.

Michael Kabotie passed away on October 23, 2009 from complications related to the H1N1 virus.
