Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded ca. 1952
BiographyThe Albuquerque Rockhounds Club, founded to take members on trips to various locations in New Mexico to go rock hunting and collect mineral specimens, has promoted ethical collecting and conservation of the state's geological heritage and has contributed to further scientific discoveries and documentation.
