BiographyGeorge O’Hara, born George Bolger, was an American motion picture actor and screenwriter of the silent film era. His popularity waned with the transition to talkies as studios favored new performers for the new form of cinema. O'Hara found it increasingly difficult to find work and faded into an early retirement in the early 1930s. In later decades he reentered the film industry as an extra.
