DescriptionAn installation composed of two large cast bronze sculptures, glazed ceramic works, and bone elements. The bronze sculptures are dark in color and resemble corseted dresses. The first dress features an indistinct, layered form protruding from the neckline, holes on the chest resembling eyes, and a skirt formed from latticed branches over a panel decorated with an incised cross and six-pointed star design. The second dress features a cluster of roses in the neckline, a corset resembling a tree trunk with indistinct animal forms circling the base, and a skirt made from latticed bones. The dresses are joined by two light gray ceramic forms depicting vertical slices of an ear of corn and five bones of varying types and lengths.
