DescriptionA woman carries a small child on her back and climbs a ladder from the ground to an upper story of an adobe pueblo in New Mexico. The child is wrapped around the woman's back with a cloth and the woman wears a dress and white leg wraps. She is half-way up the ladder The ground floor of the pueblo building has a window and door and the chiles are hung in ristras along the upper floor. A doorway is open beneath the flat roof on the upper floor. A ceramic pot is on the flat roof.
