A women looks into the cockpit of the plane. Handwriting on the photograph reads, "Ford Tri-Motor Scenic Airways 1928" and "First Ship on Airport; L. Nelson - Pilot".
Handwriting on the back reads, "First Tri-Motor ship to land in Albuquerque. Ship was owned by Scenic Airways, Inc. at Grand Canyon, Ariz. It was a tri-motor Ford or (Tin Goose). Photo shows ship taxing at the Alb. Airport inc. with Lamar Nelson as pilot."
