DescriptionThe Alexander A-2 Eaglerock, NC5904, and the Standard J-1 (Jenny) in front of Hangar #1 at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the center frame, two rear-right facing bi-planes are parked side by side in front of a large building. The building has a sign above the door that reads, "Albuquerque Airport." The foreground is a dirt airfield parking area that has tire tracks. There are clouds in the sky in the far background.Handwriting on the front of the photograph reads, "Eaglerock OXX-6” Written on border at lower right is "Standard J-1."
Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Wyoming Airway on left C5904 not in log; Standard on right #1133 in log 10/1/28; 2/15/29. 1928 Wyoming Airways plane an OXX-6 flown from Casper, Wyo by Bill Cutter. Other ship is a Standard J-1 with an OX-5 motor - belonged to Mr. E.O. Emblem of Santa Fe. Was of WWI vintage & flew all over southwest."
