DescriptionThis white political campaign pin features the slogan “Gene / Franchini / for / Supreme / Court / Democrat” in bold, stylized blue lettering. The words Gene and Democrat are curved along the top and bottom of the pin respectively, and the word For is smaller than the other emboldened Franchini and Supreme Court words. The pin is shaped in a traditional round design and the reverse contains a sharp metal pin allowing the button to be securely worn. Gene Franchini, a distinguished Albuquerque attorney and judge, successfully campaigned for a seat on the New Mexico Supreme Court, where he served from 1990 to 2002. Known for his wisdom, humility, and dedication to justice, Franchini earned a reputation as one of New Mexico’s most respected jurists.
