DescriptionThis campaign button was made for Roy S. Walker's bid for New Mexico Governor in 1965. Walker was not elected, but continued to serve the state of New Mexico and his community through his work as the director of the Community Development Agency in Clovis, New Mexico. The button is mostly yellow, with green text. The text reads "ROY/FOR GOVERNOR/WALKER."
