DescriptionThis round political campaign pin promotes Bob Hoffman for the mayoral election in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pin is white with bold black text reading “BOB HOFFMAN FOR MAYOR” encircling a central image of Hoffman’s portrait, rendered in a black-and-white halftone pattern. A metal pin back is attached to the reverse to secure the button. Robert "Bob" Hoffman ran for the office of Mayor of Albuquerque during a period of significant growth and transformation for the city. Although he was not elected, his campaign highlighted issues such as urban development and public services and he eventually became economic development secretary and tourism director under Governor Jack Campbell. Political memorabilia such as this pin encouraged voter participation.On View
