DescriptionThis campaign button was made for Roy S. Walker's bid for Governor of New Mexico in 1965. Walker was not elected but continued to serve the state of New Mexico and his community through his work as the director of the Community Development Agency in Clovis, New Mexico. The button is mostly white, with blue text and a graphic of the candidate. The text reads "ROY S. WALKER/GOVERNOR."
