DescriptionThis matchbook promotes the Golden Eagle Lodge in Red River, New Mexico. The booklet is all white but has discolorations throughout due to its age. On the front face, there is a gold image of a bald eagle, which sits right above text that reads "GOLD EAGLE/LODGE," also in gold. Underneath is another line of text in gold, which reads "RED RIVER, NM 87558." On the front face of the foldable latch it reads "505-754-2227" witten in gold, right above a staple. On the actual fold, there is a line of text that reads "Superior Monarch. Chicago, IL." On the back of the booklet there is more gold text, which covers most of the back face. The text reads "FIREPLACES/COLOR TV'S/CARPETED/FM MUSIC/KITCHENETTES/MOTEL ROOMS." Under all of that there is another smaller line of text, which says "Eddie and Barbara Dry." That sits right above the strike strip and a little staple.
