This matchbook has a white background with text on the front, alternating between white and blue. The text reads, "Your/vote/will be appreciated." Underneath the text, there is a text box, which reads "DEMOCRATIC," with a selector bubble next to it, imitating the election ballot. The back face of the booklet also sports a white background. Four lines of text cover the back, alternating between blue and red. The text reads "JOHN/BURROUGHS/FOR/GOVERNOR/DEMOCRAT."
