DescriptionThis pencil was made to promote the Continental Trailways bus system, which emerged in 1945 after several independent bus systems operating in the American southwest merged into one unified bus system. The pencil is mostly white with hints of black and red detailing throughout. There is a small image of a red bus, which sits adjacent to a couple lines of text. The text reads "CONTINENTAL TRAILWAYS/SILVER EAGLE THRU-BUS/5-STAR LUXURY SERVICE." Near the bottom of the pencil there is a small line of text which runs horizontally across the pencil, which reads "NO. 3." The bottom end has a gold eraser casing which houses a pink rubber pencil eraser. The pencil is unsharpened. On View
