DescriptionThis image depicts the Metropolitan Hotel on the corner of First Street and Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The hotel is two stories tall and appears to be mostly made of wood. Several signs can be seen on the building. These signs read "The Metropolitan Saloon", "1885 Metropolitan", "Metropolitan Hotel. European Plan". Buildings can be seen stretching into the background near the right side of the frame. One of the buildings in the background has a large sign on it which reads "Restaurant". A horse drawn street trolley can be seen in front of the Metropolitan Hotel.
