DescriptionThis image depicts two women and a child sitting on the chest high adobe wall surrounding the exterior courtyard of the St. Augustine Church on the Isleta Pueblo located two miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Highway 85. The three people can be seen in the foreground near the bottom right corner of the frame. The woman on the right is wearing a large dark colored dress, the child to her left is wearing a dark colored shirt, and the woman on the left is wearing a light-colored shirt. Both women are facing each other while the child is facing away from the camera. A large leafless tree can be seen to the left of the small group. The church can be seen in the background. The church's roof is made of dark and light-colored wood and has two steeples on either side of its pointed roof. A large wooden cross can be seen on the roof's point. The rest of the church is made of a light-colored adobe.
