DescriptionEmployees pose for a portrait on the front porch of the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad Office, located at the 800 Block of South Second Street on the southeast corner of Atlantic Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The group is arranged on the front porch, some sitting while others stand behind. All the employees are male presenting in three-piece slack suits, bowler hats and fedoras, ties, and some have separable starched white collars and pocket watch chains. Their hair is cut short and many have mustaches. Two children, about ten to twelve years old, sit on the far-right end of the group. All people are facing the camera, except one seated in the center who rests against a wooden porch post and holds a newspaper folded in his right hand. He rests an elbow on a knee and turns to the side.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
