DescriptionTwo of the Cobb children, Susan Beyer and Daphne, in an outdoor pen with rabbits in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The children wear kerchiefs tied around their heads and dresses. Susan is on her knees in front of two bunnies who eat out of her skirt. She looks down at the rabbits while Daphne stands behind her, looking up at the camera. At least two more rabbits are hiding beneath a plank of wood leaned against a wooden fence. The ground is sprinkled with straw and hay. Susan and Daphne Cobb were the second and third of four children born to Eddie and William Cobb, owners of a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century on Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The top left corner of the glass plate is broken and detached.
