DescriptionThe Cobb family children pose together outdoors with friends in the Sandia Mountains, New Mexico. From left to right is Wilfred Cobb, Daphne Cobb, Susan Cobb Beyer, Arno Blueher, Edmund, Cobb, and Paul Ellis, at the Ellis Ranch in the Sandia Mountains. Aside from Wilfred who wears a dress with a ruffled neckline and sits on a log, the children stand in a line side-by-side wearing an assortment of overalls and trousers with suspenders and newsboy flat caps or wide brimmed hats.

A black and white dog lays at their feet while they stand outside a wood plank home with an awning and rocking chair outside an opened front door entrance. The children are arranged in a patch of bright sunlight.

Eddie Ross Cobb and her husband, William Cobb, owned a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century on Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
