DescriptionA woman poses for a portrait in the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is wearing a dark princess line dress with velvet flounces at the shoulders, velvet trim at the cuffs of her long gigot puffed sleeves, high velvet collar, and velvet cinched waist line with a bow. There is a three-petal clover pin on the velvet bow on the chest of the bodice. She is seated and turned toward the right of the camera. Her dark hair is curled and pulled back from her face.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss. The glass plate is broken in two pieces.
