DescriptionA studio portrait of Eddie Ross Cobb, Fanny M. Lathrop Ross, Susan Cobb Beyer, and Edmund F. Cobb, at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eddie stands behind Fannie who sits in a high back wicker chair. Eddie wears a princess line outfit with a gigot puffed long-sleeved top and her hair is pulled back into a chignon bun. She looks down at the infant Susan who is resting in Fannie's arms. Susan is dressed in a white gown. Fannie looks at the camera and also wears a princess line dress. The fabric has fine, multicolored pinstripes, gigot long-sleeves, and a high, embroidered neckline. She wears a brooch at the base of the high collar and glasses on her face. Her hair is parted down the center, pulled away from the face, and secured behind the head. Edmund, a toddler, stands to Fannie's left and they lean their heads together. He has long curled hair with a bow on the top of the head, holding hair back with it. He wears a light-colored white dress. Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
