DescriptionPeople gather around Francis Schlatter, known as "the Healer" in front of an adobe building near Albuquerque, New Mexico. Schlatter is wearing light pants and a light-colored button-up shirt over another shirt. His dark hair is shoulder-length and he has a large beard and a mustache. He is smiling toward the right of the camera. Men standing on either side of him are wearing suits and single-Albert pocket watch chains with drops attached to their vests. They look directly into the camera. There are women behind the men wearing high-crown hats.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss. The glass plate is also chipped and broken in multiple spots.
