DescriptionA studio portrait of two men dressed as cowboys pose in the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico in front of a hand painted backdrop. One is seated on a twisted iron stool, crossing one leg over the other knee. The other cowboy stands behind him and rests one hand on the seated man's shoulder and the other hand on his own hip. They both wear large brimmed hats, bandanas around the neck, vests with button downs beneath, embroidered leather gloves with fringes on the cuffs, denim pants, and leather lace-up boots. Their hair is chin length. The man seated on the stool wears two naja necklaces with silver squash blossom beads.Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
