DescriptionA monochromatic gray print with two central figures and a montage of imagery. The male figure is dressed as a cowboy, with a broad hat, bandana, vest, jeans, and leather boots. He holds a pistol in his left hand. Behind him is a hot-water radiator, prickly pear cactus, a rodent, and the wing of an eagle above. Another figure in Western clothing on the right is seen from the waist up and wears a broad hat, a long-sleeve, button-up shirt, and a stamped leather belt. He looks to the right and his hands are crossed in front of him; an eagle wing floats above him. As if transparent, his chest reveals the images of two figures who look at each other in profile. Mountains are visible behind these internal figures. In the center of the composition is a small illustration of a figure seated on the edge of a cliff and eagles flying nearby. The large eagle at top has its mouth open and its wings are spread as if in flight. On View
