DescriptionMembers of the Ross and Cobb family are gathered outside a family homestead in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Included in the group moving from right to left is toddler Susan Cobb Beyer wearing a bonnet with chickens at her feet, Maria Clementine Wilson Ross standing in a light-colored shirtwaist outfit and holding a hat in her right hand, William Cobb crouching in the grass wearing a hat and holding Dixie's collar (a dog), young Edmund F. Cobb sitting beside him wearing a straw hat and holding his head in his hands, Wilson Ross in a large straw hat holding another dog, and Pit Ross on the far right holding the reigns of two horses. There are also two cows on the side of the house. Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
