DescriptionThe TWA engine overhaul shop is located in Kansas City. General maintenance work is done in Albuquerque, and after a specified number of hours the plane is given a general overhaul at the main shops. The entire plane and each engine is inspected after 25 hours of flight, and engines are given a complete overhaul after 600 hours of operation. The workers at this overhaul shop are stationed at different of large machinery in a factory type setting. Carts full of various parts form a line in the center of the room. The room has large windows in far the left frame and shop lights along the ceiling.On View
