DescriptionThe two men are Edwin L. Durham (left), an engine overhaul foreman, and Ray Johnson, is an assistance maintenance supervisor for Continental Air Lines. They are checking an engine assembly in CAL’s Denver shops. Continental won the coveted maintenance award for 1942 given by Aviation magazine. The men are standing across from one another looking down, and inspecting the engine part. There is other machinery out of focus in the background.
