DescriptionThis black lead box holder was produced by the Sheaffer Pen Company, which began operations in 1913 in Ft. Madison, Iowa. The lead box features white cursive lettering spelling out "Fineline" across the front. Adjacent to this, the words "thick leads" and "medium" are displayed in a simple font, emphasizing the product's specifications. A line of text on the side reads "Sheaffers," completing the branding. There are scratches throughout the front face and body of the box.
