DescriptionThis metal cigarette loads tin features a bright, cherry-red base color and includes a top and bottom for the container. The top reads, "Cigarette / Loads / Loud" in large, bold lettering in the center, with the word "Loads" being encompassed in a comic-book-like illustration of a "bang" effect, featuring a shape with emphasized and exaggerated spiked edges. Upon opening the tin, there would have been cigarette loads that were then inserted in cigarettes only for a loud explosion noise to occur upon lighting it, making this a gag gift or novelty prank object popular during the second half of the twentieth century. On View
