DescriptionThis pencil was made for Albert Soell, who was a shoe salesman in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Roberts, Johnson and Rand Shoe Company. The company was incorporated in 1899, and gained acclaim for their woman's Star Brand shoe. This mechanical pencil is made mostly out of wood, with the bottom end and narrow top tip being made out of a silver metal. On the main center body of the pencil, there is a big block of text which reads, "ALBERT SOELL, SALESMAN, PHONE 3252/817 W. MARQUETTE AVE. - ALBUQUERQUE, N.M./"STAR BRAND SHOES ARE BETTER.""
