DescriptionThis object is a long-shanked tenaculum with forked jaws, each with two curved and pointed prongs. The jaws are offset from the shanks at an obtuse angle centered around the hinge. A small locking ratchet is present between the ring handles. One handle is left slightly open towards the jaws of the object. "PILLING - PHILA / RUSTLESS" is stamped onto the exterior of one of the shanks just below the hinge. Mild levels of rust are visible between the shanks and around the hinge. On View
