DescriptionThis object is an oblong cup comprised of a decoratively carved gourd. The central portions of the object are covered with carvings of mammals, birds, and numerous botanical motifs. A dense cross-stitch pattern overlaps with the central designs. Horizontal bands of repeating triangular designs line the top and bottom of the intricate carvings. Vertically-oriented leaves converge at the very bottom point of the vessel.On View
