DescriptionMulti-colored square quilt with different famous examples of pottery and landmarks representing Albuquerque such as prehistoric pottery designs, a Spanish soldier, Sandia Laboratories logo, ballooning, Indigenous arts, the University of New Mexico, and Route 66. There is a turquoise blue border that overlaps at the corner and a red banner with blue text at the bottom. A separate fabric ristra is attached and hangs in the top right. The piece was made collaborately by artists that made up the New Mexico Quilters' Association. The quilt was created to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the City of Albuquerque. On View
