DescriptionThis object is a large polychrome ceramic vessel made by Eudora Montoya of the Santa Ana Pueblo. The vessel has a white background, with artistic detail applied to the surface with reddish-brown and black slips. The base of the object is covered in the reddish brown slip, along with the curving, geometric designs near the rim of the object, just above the shoulder. The central designs consist of all three colors arranged in a repeating pattern with both geometric and botanical motifs.On View
