DescriptionThis is a brown wooden darning tool, or darning egg. The tool is made of two parts, first is the egg and second is the handle. The egg is shaped similar to an egg, with a rounded point on the top and sloping sides. However, the base of the egg is flat and the inside is hollow, this allows it to fit over the handle. The handle's main section is similar to a cylinder with curved sides, this section ends in a thick circular area that fits into the egg.
