DescriptionThis is a pair of buttonhole scissors, made of a silver metal. The handles consist of two hoops, and there is brass knob in the center where the two pieces meet. The blades are both sharpened on the inner edges, and on each there is a gap between the hinge at the base and the top half of the blade. This gap allows the sharpened part of the blade to cut the inside of a buttonhole, while the gap protects the outer seams of the hole.
