DescriptionThese iron scissors or tijeras include a flattened, square-stock, drawn-out, and tapered round form, which comprises the bows. The blades swell in the center and taper to a point at the end. The cutting edge is straight and bevelled only on the immediate thickness of the plate. An iron river serves as the pivot point. The scissors originate from Northern New Mexico.
