DescriptionA studio portrait of Edmund Ross, his grandmother Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Clemntine Wilson Ross, wife of Pitt Ross. They pose together at Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They stand on a painted backdrop that rolls from the ceiling behind them onto the floor. Mrs. Wilson sits in a crescent shaped wicker chair in the center of the group. She and Clemmie, to Mrs. Wilson's left, wear dark princess line outfits. Clemmie wears a gigot sleeved, open fitted jacket with a tight high collard white blouse beneath with buttons down the center. A dangling cross is attached to a pin, fastened to the collar. Mrs. Wilson wears a double-breasted, satin buttoned gigot fitted jacket, glasses and holds a handkerchief in her right hand. To her right stands young Edmund in childhood stage. He wears plaid knickerbockers, tall dark socks, and a light-colored and pattered button down lined with frills. There is a pocket watch chain leading from his chest pocket. His hair is short, parted to the side and swooped back. Edmund and great-grandma smile slightly. Part of Edmund's right hand is cut out of the image.Edmund Ross was the eldest of Pitt and Clementine Ross. Pitt was a son of the Territorial Governor of New Mexico, Edmund G. Ross.
