DescriptionA studio portrait of Edmund F. Cobb and Susan Cobb Beyer posing with a bloodhound at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The dog is sitting at three-quarter profile in the middle between the children, looking to the right of the camera. The dog's mouth is open slightly. It has short dark fur and is wearing a thick learther collar. Edmund stands to the left of the dog. Edmund holds his hands behind his back, his hair is cut short, wears knickerbockers, a light-colored blouse with a large collar that covers the shoulders, black socks and leather shoes. Susan, on the other side of the pup, is smaller than the dog and pears up towards it. She holds a small American flag in the right hand. Her hair is short and curled around the face, and wears a light-colored round collared dress with gigot puffed sleeves. Layard atop this dress, is a sleeveless dress with pin stripes, and an oversized collar. On View
