DescriptionA studio portrait of Susan Cobb Beyer and her brother Edmund F. Cobb at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The babies sit on the floor atop a blanket. Surrounding them, are dead ducks. Susan holds a pencil in her right hand and wears a pleated dress with gigot sleeves. Beside her sits Edmond who wears a button-down shirt with a large collar spanning his shoulders and a bow around his neck. Edmund and Susan were the eldest children of Eddie and William Cobb, owners of a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century on Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.
