DescriptionA studio photograph of the young Edmund Fessenden Cobb as a toddler at the Cobb studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is posed on a round, crescent shaped wicker seat atop a shaggy rug. He sits to the side, on top of his knees and looks over his shoulder at the camera. He wears a light-colored striped dress, has long hair and the front of his hair is pulled back away from his face. Behind him is an ornately decorated trunk-like piece of furniture.

Edmund was the eldest of Eddie and William Cobb's four childrn.They owned a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century on Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.
